Farm products
Our focus is on animal welfare and stewardship of the land while providing our community with high quality farm products.
Our flock of Coopworth and Romney sheep produce ideal fleeces for handspinning or felting projects. Our flock lives on pasture, and we focus on providing a healthy and low stress environment with good nutrition. This means our girls produce clean and sound raw fleeces with low vegetable matter and long staple length.

We believe that you can raise and eat meat ethically. Our highest priority is the welfare and health of our animals, and we work hard to give them good lives. Our meat customers are invited to schedule a time to visit our farm so you can be confident about the ethical treatment of our animals.

VALLEY HAY
Our Willamette Valley hay is suitable for horses as well as other livestock. It is a mix of fescue, orchardgrass, perennial rye, and a few other species mixed throughout. Our goal is to produce nutritious feed while maintaining soil health and limiting our impact on the surrounding environment, waterways, and wildlife. We carefully inspect all fields for dangerous weeds, especially tansy ragwort. Our hay is available from the field immediately after harvest, as well as from the barn throughout the year (supplies limited).

FRESH EGGS
At Folly, our chickens rule the roost. Our flock roams free during the day, enjoying grass, insects, exercise, and dust-bathing. At night, they are safe from predators in our cozy barn. We allow our chickens to follow a natural, seasonal egg-laying pattern, which means their egg production drops in the winter. While this means we have fewer eggs in winter, this is important for the health of our girls.

Egg subscriptions are currently full, but we are expanding the flock in 2025.
SEASONAL
We produce a number of seasonal farm products, including composted sheep manure for your garden, decorative Halloween pumpkins and more. Follow our Instagram @folly_farmstead to keep up to date.
SHEEP FOR SALE

We currently have several lovely ewe and wether lambs for sale, born Feb/March 2024. These lambs come from healthy mothers and are fully vaccinated and wormed. They have high-quality fleeces suitable for handspinners. They would make excellent small flock for mowing your lawn and providing delicious meat or beautiful wool.
