FLEECE INFO: Bettina has the sweetest curls in the whole flock! She has an unusual fleece for a Coopworth - her curls almost remind me of a Gotland cross or similar. This fleece varies in character - some areas are curly, some have more crimp, and the length varies from 3.5-5in in some places (most is about 4.5in). It has more crossfibering than ideal, but washes cleanly and is strong. Some areas have summer discoloration but these will wash out (see photos for example of locks after a soak and scouring). Staple length: 4-5in. Weight: 5lb. Low VM. This sheep was not coated. Listed price is for whole fleece, or will split the fleece for $17/pound (2lb minimum).
 
ABOUT THIS SHEEP: Bettina is Queen of the Farm. From a very early age, she asserted herself as the most important animal around. She demands pets and scratches, she knows just where the grain treats are stored, she tests fences, finds open gates, and yells at the top of her lungs when something isn't going her way. We love her to bits.
